diving car with no reverse on provisional

can you still drive a car on a provisional licence with reverse gear removed with out a full licence holder beside you it could be done in 60s not sure about now

HELP..... he. he. gets me every time.
It used to be the case that you could drive a three-wheeled car with reverse gear disabled on a motorcycle license, but the categories changed many years ago and this is no longer the case. In fact, the motorcycle license restrictions are quite tough now.
