Is it possible to block one known landline number only to my landline? Thanks

yes, you can ask your phone provider to do this, but they tend to only do it in very specific circumstances, i.e. nuisance calls.
yes it is, its called choose to refuse, go to www.bt.com and it will tell you all about it

Will try both suggestions.
the choose to refuse is available to anyone with or without nuisance calls but they do charge for it
I think you can get something called Choose To Refuse from BT,whereby you can bar incoming calls from individual numbers.
