ignorant cyclists

ignorant because they ignore the road rules,
particularly in london where sweaty cyclists think they own the road,
traffic lights on RED means STOP!!!!!!!
please join my campaign and draw attention to these road yobs who have no insurance,
when you are waiting patiently at the lights according to the law and one or more of these superior beings just carries on past you BLAST YOUR HORN FOR 5 SECONDS to warn responsible road users that an ar$eh0l is in the area,
you never know the police may even take notice,
yes you will be stationary and sounding your horn, but it will be as a warning so may be viewed as legal.

I absolutely agree helpmetoo. The cyclists in London are out of control. I have had to step out the way of one that has gone through a red light more times than I care to remember. And what happens if they injure you when they don't have any insurance? They are totally uncontrollable as there is no way there will any come back unless bikes are registered like cars. And that'll never happen.
Now you've got me going!
I did a survey a couple of years ago and in an eight mile drive to work in the early morning, before lights off time and I saw approx thirty cyclists, 60% of whom had no lights on at all, 10% had just a front light, 10% had just a back light and 20% had both but of these two thirds were these illegal flashing lights, some on the bike some on a rucksack for the rear.
Then our local council spent a fortune installing a cycle lane and this morning during travel to work time, I saw about ten cyclists in about a mile, nine of who were riding at speed on the pavement.
The latest trick is for them to ride the wrong way up the one way street which is our village High Street, swearing at drivers who hoot them. They also swear at our PCSO's if they stop them and give them a ticket.
The sooner we have new law requiring all cyclists to register and carry a registration number on their bikes and take out cyclist insurance the better.

It annoys me also, I frequently tell off cyclists riding on the pavement, how would they feel if we all started walking in the cycle lanes.
I even had a row recently with a motorcyclist who was riding on the pavement. I realised too late I could have taken his number and reported him.
Apparently Boris is proposing that cyclists be allowed to turn left at red lights, just what we don't need.
