Car with squeeky wheel. Why?

I have a 5 year old Renalut Clio with a squeeky wheel. Everytime I turn left at low speed, the front left wheel makes a noise like grinding metal. Any idea what this could be?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.IF it's only on turning in the one direction it's most likely to be a CV (constant velocity) joint...these make one wheel turn slightly faster, the other slower, as the car turns and are a likely culprit if it's only happening in the one direction if it's a constant noise...if it's a rubbing type noise then brake discs and pads could be checked....could also be power steering damage...or wheel bearings...in other words a few things so get it to the garage.
