There have been occasions where toilet waste systems have leaked on aircraft, resulting in 'blue ice' build-up, which has subsequently fallen to the ground. So, stories such as 'frozen pee hits roof' are more than urban myths.

However, it is a myth that airliners routinely dispose of waste while in flight. It's not permitted. Even if they wanted to, it would be impossible, since the valve is usually on the outside of the aircraft.
