tyre scrubbing

I have a 54 Renault Scenic automatic which has done 20,000 miles.It had its first M O T in August with no problems.A couple of weeks ago I noticed the rear nearside tyre was scrubbing on the outside.They are Dunlop and have been on since new in the same position. I have had the bearings and suspension checked ,also the alignment. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe it is just a badly constructed tyre.

have you checked that they are inflated to the correct pressure??prob the first port of call

Thanks David it was my first thoughts thinking possibly a slow puncture

if its the only one that is scrubbed its highly likely that it could be just a bad tyre
