i recently bought a computer with windows vista installed, i connected my epson stylus c64 printer to it and it works fine EXCEPT the ink guide that tells you when a colour is running out doesnt work, ive tried several times and it just wont install, ive since heard that this is a common problem with vista...ive also been told there is a site where i can get an update to solve this problem, but alas i cant find it, can anyone help?..thanks in advance

There is no Vista driver available for the C64 but you can still check the ink levels, either from an application (such as Microsoft Word) or via the Control Panel. See here:

alas this still doesnt work...my printer doesnt seem to have the "get ink levels" button soooooo does anyone have any other solutions other than changing the printer?...cheers
