is thre anything i can clean my ceramic straighteners with, as they hav a coating of products that wont come of with water, and when i use them my hair is becoming dirty straight away.

Normally you'll have a section in the manual stating how to clean them. When cooled, use a warm soapy cloth and gently remove the product build up, if that doesnt work try consulting the makers customer service team. hope that helps

Try vinegar because it's not so harsh it will damage the straighteners but should strip off residues.
