I have been using hair straightners for years and thinks its about time I invest in a pair of GHDs.

Could anyone recommed any good websites where I could buy a cheap(ish) pair?

If you own some GHDs have these been your best purchase, would it be worth buying them??

Thanks !

I ave recently got some GHD's and yes i would reccomend them, they're really good.

My old hair straighteners would tak aaages to straighten my hair i.e- i would have to go over and over to try and get it remotely straight but with GHD's it takes me about 5 minutes and makes your hair look in really good condition, all shiny-shiny :P

erm..i wouldnt know where to get them as i was given them.
Hope this helps a tad
Hi, mancmo. My auntie bought a pair for my cousin at Christmas from HQhair.com for around 85. They were the cheapest she could find on the net at the time. :)
I've had 4 pairs of GHD's...they're great but very pricey and break very easily. My niece who is a hair dresser bought a pair of hair straighteners from Primark on Saturday and they cost 25.00 and she says they are excellent.
No different from any other hair straighteners that go up to 230 except for the rpice. I have a babylis strighteners go up to 230 and heat up in 30 seconds for half price.
Plus there have been no end of complaints about GHDs and the cord. So not worth the money
I've tried many brands of ceramic hair straighteners and GHD were the most effective. I have non caucasian hair and needed only to slide them down the hair shafts once and still get the best effect.

Saying that, I didn't buy GHD's, instead have Coriolis straighteners and they seem to work in exactly the same way as GHD, but the cord is now very twisted.
I think GHD's are now around 115 quid !!!! Ouch

I've had the same pair of GHDs for about six years and have never had a problem with them. I use them at least once a week on my very curly hair and it only takes about 10 minutes to get lovely straight shiny hair. They were over 100 when I bought them (I have the super wide ones) and they are worth every penny.
