my computer screen is wrong

can anyone help me. My computer screen is gone all freaky on me. when I am on the internet the webpages all seem to be in the middle of the screen with 2 thick white lines on the screen and also the writing and the images are all very small and very tricky to read and it all looks like its all squashed up together in the middle of the screen.
I have tried enlarging them with the appearance setting on my computer but it dosnt do anything.
Please help.

thanks for the answer gen2 but I have already tryed that and it didnt really work, it did enlarge somethings but some of the images and text on the pages whent missing.
