secondary glazing
2 Answers
Does it work?? What are your experiences of this? We live in an old drafty cottage and as it's listed, new double glazed windows will be very expensive. We have sash windows. Installing it should not be a problem. The gap between the glazing would be approx 5inch for the top sash and 3 for the bottom. Any advice, thoughts etc gratefully received.

I have also replaced the glazing on the rest of my list B house (in Scotland) and my local planning chap was quite happy that as long as I was not altering the size/shape/proportions of the windows he was not interested. Other local councils may widely differ. Hope this helps, Andy
