I wanted to post a thread to ask what things from the past bring back memories. Like Triang toys, pacamac rainwear, certain smells triggering oldmemories. Couldn't find a suitable category to post my question so haven't done so. How abou a category caled "Nostalgia"? Thanks in advance

I remember pac-a-mac. The first thing we did when going on holiday was find a Woolworths and stock up on these.
Can also remember when Woolies sold loose biscuits
Betta Builda (bit like Lego)
Matchbox toys in little matchbox type boxes
Sherbet sold by the ounce in paper bags
Aqua Manda perfume
The Corona soft drinks man
and of course the salt in blue bags in Smiths Crisps!

I was walking by a neighbours garden the other day, I don't know which one it was but some of the flowers brought back memories of a previous relationship.
I guess we had the same flowers in our garden as he suddenly filled my mind. It made me rather sad actually, not because I want to get back with him, it was just happy years.

Playing vinyl and listening to the odd crackling.
Papa smurf and his funny beard.
Mr Frosty.
Banjo chocolate bar.
Cadbury's Counters.
My favourite pair of chequered (sp) flares when I was 6.
Panda Pops that stripped the varnish off the school hall floor.
Red see-through pac-a-mac that was mauled by a goat on a school trip to farm when I was 10.
My dads light blue Ford Cortina c.1980
My uncles MGBGT c.1977
Loads more but my brain cells are still asleep.
