Motorola W375 wireless phone

I purchased the above mobile phone,in England. It is used on a pay as you go SIM.

Anyone know, for sure, if it will work on the East Coast of USA --- from Virginia up to New York?

sent an e-mail to Motorola..........still waiting. Last time I asked the shop that supplies me, they gave me incorrect instructions, and not much you can do when you're in the USA and the instructions don't work.

Oh yea, there must be some reasonable instructions somewhere, that explain how to use a GB mobile to call a USA number as well as phone back to England.

Any ideas will be gratefully received.
