Haltemprice and Howden by-election
Should David Davis and David Cameron be embarrassed at the 210,000 cost of the Haltemprice and Howden by-election.
If Davis gets less than the 22,792 votes he got last time, is his protest about 42 days vindicated or not?
If the tory candidate wins but gets less votes (in a one horse race) than last time, will it be anything for Cameron to shout about?

So when he is re-elected his voice will count less as he will not be able to sit on the opposition front bench and bring the government to order. DC must be hiding his head in embarrassment. And to think he could have been the next Prime Minister. They should do a sanity check on these people in power!
Not so, I was just making the point since you had inferred that David Davis was only a man of principle, because he held a safe Tory seat.
Therefore I responded by asking you that, could you say for certain there were still some safe Labour seats, (seeing that Labour is the party in power at the moment).
I was asking for your opinion, not what political party (if any) you belong to.
