how do I re-cloth a pool table

Get a pro to do it because it's quite difficult to do. Otherwise get some strong hands in to help you. Start by cutting the cloth larger than the pool table itself. Lift the slate/top and tuck a little piece under one edge and stick with a strong adhesive (sorry can't be more specific). Do this all the way around but make sure you have at least one friend on each side pulling it tight before during and after each stick. In pubs they have people that go in to do this professionally and it takes them about 10 minutes I've been told so probably wouldn't cost that much. Have a word with your local landlord or someone at the local snooker hall and ask for a contact number.
