vauxhall corsa b cutting out

i have a vauxhall cora b 1993.used to have a 1.2 ls engine in now it has got a 1.6 gsi 16v in.got the car as a porject,wasunt running.got it runing in the end,then out of the blue my car decided to play ticks on me by starting then cutting out a few seconds later.i didunt worry about it two much as i was chageing it.now i have changed it to the one said at the top but it still start then cuts out.i have tried all sorts,so far i have changed the fuel pump,fuel relay,fuel filer,put a live from pump to iginition,fully rewired to car with a 1.6 gsi loom,checked and double checked i have got every thing connected,alo i have had 2 mechanics out,and one car sparkie,2 of them had diagsnotic machines worth �4:500 pound.but couldunt get them to read it.no one seems to have had this problem what i am haveing,please someone help me its driving my round the bend lol.thanks

have you tried changing the battery ?

Possibly the coil pack? My Astra kept cutting out while driving, and that's what it turned out to be.

have you changed the ecu to the one from the 1.6 gsi

ahh the good old days of b a s t a r d is i n g a corsa b with either a 1600 gsi engine or a cavalier 2.0 turbo engine!! should be like a go cart when its running!!
