I have just bought Coldplay's album Viva la Vida etc for a friend's Birthday on Amazon and it is not in a proper case, it is like one of those record sleeves or the packaging that some CD singles used to come in. Normally I wouldn't be concerned but the rest of the CDs I ordered for myself were scratched almost like they were second hand (despite having been bought from Amazon as brand new), so I am concerned that they are compromising on quality and that this CD should really be in a proper case. Before I wrap up the present and give it to my friend, can anyone who has bought the CD from a shop let me know whether it is supposed to not havi a proper case? Thanks.
I have that Cd..Yea it came in really strange packaging! Its really thin...theres no plastic case..you can buy nice colourfull CD cases in loads of Craft shops... Im sure if you explain to your mate you could put it in there:)
