Yawning

Just before my father collapsed he started yawning really loud.He has done this twice now but seems to be generally ok after a short time.By the way he isnt just tired.Any ideas?

It is thought that we yawn because our brains lack oxygen. How true this is I do not know but could explain the collapse?

People often yawn if they are about to faint, it's to do with low oxygen levels. So you dad needs checking by his doctor to see what is causing him to black out.
