how do i stop my gas cooker from the igniter clicking when i am using the hob. i have tried cleaning it but to no availe, it does not happen all the time.

The gas hob I have only does it when the wife cleans it and uses too much water....
it is usually down to a short circuit caused by water in or around the switches, you could try carefuuly drying i off with a warm hair-dryer.
