garden pebble pond
Can anyone suggest what depth my pebble-pond should be? I have no intention of fish keeping- but if wildlife chooses to populate it then that's fine. Although the main purpose is simply a garden feature.
I already have a fountain installed - do I also require a filter?
NB: I am using a flexible liner- but it isn't too late to get underneath this to remove sand/lime chips....

I do know that if it's not oxygenated then it would end up a green muddy mess. I plan at some stage to introduce some aquatic plants so if there are any pitfalls there I would appreciate experienced advice.
