my itunes has recently updated to version 8, and the limewire I have is version 14.18.6 no other version seems available, but when I plug in my ipod nothing comes up for my ipod to enable syncing and the limewire comes as version not compatable is there anyone out there that can help

You may need to update the iPod itself.

Look what version you are running, and check which is the latest version here.

unable to get the update access as nothing happens when i plug my ipod in when itunes is open I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 6 times but nothing helps is there any way I can go back to version 7

The new itune is awful, that genius thing seems to have slowed my machine down a lot when its running.
