computer processor comparison?
2 Answers
hi, do the following processors give the same performance?
VIA C7-M ULV Processor 1.6 GHz which is used in the HP2133
Intel Atom Processor 1.6 Which is used in the ASus EEE PC 1000h
basically i like everything of the HP2133, but dont know if the processor is fast enough.
the ASUS EEE PC is excellent, but it only comes with maximum 1GB with windows XP OS.
please advise me as i need it urgently for my courseworks
thank you

decide which one suits you ... and that's the best
forget about fastest - there is a noticeable difference between a 486 and a dual core
the difference between a 486 3.0Mhx and a 3.6Mhz processor is only on paper - the actual numbers are so small.
the machines are reasonably equally matched - I might like the idea of the eee (I know ethel does!)
others here may or may not agree .... and the arguments are all valid
at the end of the day ... if the keyboard feels odd or the colour isn't quite vivid enough or the speaker is too squeeky - it's not the machine for you.
if both machines will do the job ... go for the colour you like best
