cleaning a hat

my husband has a well loved Panama Jack hat. It's showing signs of perspiration on the brim. Does anyone know how I can clean it please? Thanks

You could try "Dry Cleaning" fluid available in larger supermarkets but read the instructions! You don't mention what material it is made from and this fluid is no good with leather!
