Help please.Record of Category and stolen/recoverd.
1) If a car is Category D (or any of the categories) does it show on the registration document?
2) A seller says a car was 'stolen/recovered'. Does this have to be recorded on the reg. document? If not why should he mention it?
Thanks

well it don't on mine,
but a seller should tell you if it was in an accident or total loss, stolen if he knows,
this is why you should check the hpi register to be sure that it doesn't have a shady past or still money owed to finance company etc,
it's value is less that book price should it be on the register,
some Vehicles are done to a good standard - repair wise,
some are just cr@p & should be avoided.
