Question about a Wii

I bought a Wii for my grandchildren, and when I was in Canada on holiday I bought some discs for it but they don't work here do they? I don't suppose there's any way I can get them to work?

Different TV systems, we use pal, they use NTSC.

You can buy a dual format TV and they would work!

or for about 50-60quid you can buy a converter, I've never used on so can't comment on the quality of them though

Thanks, I think I'll e-mail some friends in Canada and see if they want them, otherwise they'll go in the bin, never thought I would be as stupid as to buy something abroad without reading the labels!!
