email signatures

How do you sign your email with a handwritten signature. I have just received one from a friend but she says she has no idea how she did it. She says she just typed her name normally and it suddenly turned into 'joined 'writing.) It was a forwarded email)
I wuld really like to know how to do it. Thanks in advance

The more practical way would be to make your signature on a piece of paper and then scan it into yout PC. Then save it as a .jpg that you can insert into your document as an image file.
