Seben metal detecter

Hi,
Just bought a Seben metal detecter from Germany and the instructions aren't all that clear on setting it up.
It has a critical sound tuner + a function tuner + an operations mode selecter and a zeroing button.
The dial is zero to 300 and top arch has blue merging into green while the lower arch is constant red.
Any help appreciated.
