NTL pace box

hi, folks
i have just unearthed my old ntl pace box from my previous address, in my new gaff i am on virgin with a new box.
i have just plugged in my old box with the ariel from my new box but i can only get a handful of channels, even less than a freeview box???.
is there something i could do to convert this box or do i just have to buy a second viewing card fron virgin(if poss) so at least i would get the same channels upstairs as i do get downstairs. thats if virgin sell a second card. you guessed by now im a newbie eh.......
