I only wanted a toaster, 3 weeks Ive been looking lol
One which takes full length slices of bread and has a bun warmer, you would think it wasnt too difficult for under 30 eh
noooooooooooooo, scoured many web sites and shops, ordered one from Comet and returned it, ordered one from Additions Direct and trying to return it - sigh
Cant believe there are toasters at over 100 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just after posting but it did not go in - got a great toaster in Asda.. 5.49 for white one and 7 for silver (not real silver of course) it is for thick and thin slices (no bun warmer
Dualit - mainly toast-snobbery, status symbol of the posh & the culinary-education 'n all that rubbish. I bought one in the days I actually had money and a lovely big farmhouse kitchen. Not any more (the money or the kitchen).
However - they do last almost a lifetime - so I supose they justify the high price in that way. I don't expect to ever have to buy a new toaster - whereas a cheapie one might only last a couple of years or thrice.
thanks Ethel its a Kenwood one at that price Ive just received and tho it looks like it takes a whole slice it didnt when I got it, I will look for that one in the shops (tho I cant go around with a slice of bread hahaha)
i've got a Kenwood electronic ..full slice size ..
with a bun warmer on the top ...but i've had it
for ages ...but it does the bizz ...so maybe try
the Kenwood site ..good luck ...
