night shift allowance

i work nights (night trunk HGV 1), starting at 8pm until approx 5am. Although the pay is good, the warehouse staff on nights (10.30pm till 7.30am) receive a shift allowance(rumered to be �50/wk) and the 3 night drivers do not. Question is, are the 3 of us entitled to the same allowance? Thanx

no, only if it states so in your contract. Even people doing the same job can have different terms and conditions
