Hi,we have just managed to connect our new laptop and dlink router. When we plug in direct to the modem the internet connection is fine but when we connect the router we cannot connect at all. When we have checked ''connect to'' the computer is telling us we are connected to dlink.Confusing but am hoping someone can tell us what we have done wrong. Thanks very much.

i am not overly clued up on these things but all of a sudden one day my wireless broadband was not working. Had a lengthy call with a callcentre unplugging etc etc still nothing. Then told me to check a button on the right hand side of my laptop - little button on the side and that is what it was. I must have in advertantly pressed it so was not allowing wireless function. Sorry dont know technical name for this. It is just down from where I input a cd which I imagine will be the same on most.
