allowed the grand children to play with the computer they have deleted the animated animals in my search for files cannot bring them back does anyone know how i can bring them back as they miss the little dog help plrase

open search, if it opens the new style one then scroll to the bottom of the left pane and click on use search companion.

Then in the left pane click the change preferences, and the top option in the preferences is to turn the animated dog back on.

If you are using Windows XP or Vista it is very easy to set up a new account just for use by the children.

Then when you let them go on the computer they will use THEIR account not YOURS.

Then anything they delete or change wont affect YOUR account.
