Yes I did and it says I have 28 days including bank holidays, but now as the company has done well they gave everyone an extra 5 days holiday per year.

it sounds a bit tight seeing the hours you are doing,dont forget bank holidays will be paid for soon on top of and not included in holidays.

So what is your question? Are you thinking that this company is trying to make you work more days than the last you worked for? Every company has a right to set terms of employment and if you signed your agreement then you will have to deal with it. Or resign. From what you say, they offer far better holidays than the company I work for, I agreed to 20 days (bank holidays included) for the first year. It is a JOB and it pays better than the dole!

You have a contract of employment? Read it, why complain here? See a Union rep if you feel hard done by these people who employ you. If not, then just let these guys have there extra week. Do you like the job you are in????????
