Help needed, please, in these last few questions from what I have found to be a very difficult quiz . You will see that they all concern Olympics.

1. What does Cricket have in common with Fencing and Weightlifting in the Olympics ?

2. Which current athlete has represented her country in 3 different events in 4 different Olympics ?

3. Where might you find a Russian tree and a Japanese moped in the Olympics ?

4. What do the Tour de France in 1999 and the men's Olympic 10Km swim have in common ?

5. Which British athlete has won 3 silver medals in the same sport ?

4 winners of both events lance armstrong cycling and maarten van der weijden swimming both suffered from cancer and recovered to compete again.

3 don't know about russian tree but there's a track cycling event i think called kierin where cyclists follow motorbike called a derny hope this is some help !!

have been puzzling over question 1the only thing i can think of which seems far to simple is that they all have umpires what have you come up with ??

So do other olympic sports, bushcombe, so why single these three out?
There are other things that they have in common (together with severl other olympic sports) e.g. all early winners (pre 1920 or so) didn't receive gold medals, only silver. (Gold medals were awarded retrospectively.
Is there something unique to cricket fencing & weightlifting?
