I sat & watched the Tweenies with my 3 year old - how do they work their eyes & eye lids? Are they kids or dwarfs in the costumes? Fizz is a darling & isn't Bella Bossy!!!

i actually dont know the answer but i have been wondering that too for a long time. pls let me know when u have the answer!

The eyes must be opperated by remote control, like tilting the flaps and rudders on remote control planes or boats, by a performer stood at the side of the set. The mouths will be worked the same way by an actor reading the dialogue, as they are unlikely to be connected to the performer in the costume.

I read somewhere that the people inside the costumes have a contract forbidding their identity being revealed.
