plasma tv phased out
7 Answers
i see that the eu is planning to prohibit sales of large plasma tvs due to there power usage,
if were prepared to pay for the power they use that should be our choice, as it is for large retail outlets etc to flood the area excessively with power hungry lights day and night in some places

Ethel, I think the reasoning behind the phasing out is that Plasma is much less energy-efficient than LCD. CRT seems to be phasing itself out naturally due to market forces.
