sequence homes estate agent
If anyone is currently marketing their home through a sequence estatge agent they may be interested in this.
I have had my property on the market recently with an offer to pay a first time buyers 5% depsosit.
My estage agent called Monday and said as that wasnt getting any interest, would i be interested in lowering the price and offering a �1000 cashback incentive instead, as money in the pocket may seem more appealing to buyers.
I agreed, i would be no worse off.
i get the paperwork today to sign and the �1000 cashback offer is only payable to a buyer if they use sequences own mortgage advisor and legal team.
So, lucky me eh? Im paying for the incentive to drum up business for sequence, wonder if id get a commission??
oh and to top it off, sequence will run a nice advertising campaign for those offering the �1000 cashback. Erm arent they supposed to be pushing for sales anyway, given the current climate, isnt that what i pay my fee for.

i care if they get another cut! why should i be paying for their promotions!
what i find most annoying is that the guy on phone didnt once mention the fact that the buyer HAD to use their financial services. It wasnt until i got the stuff in the post that i read it, and no i havnt signed it yet.
Giving them a call today to sort it out. May tell them i'll give the �1000 regardless and that i want them to state it on the particulars.
