We have an electrical heater by Concorde. It is new but doesn't come with instructions. It has two dials, one has two options, A or M, and the other is a load of numbers. I've worked out that the numbers increase or decrease the heat but what is the A and M? We assumed Auto and Manual and set it to M. This works fine but we can't work out what Auto does if that is what A stands for. Thanks in advance...

Is it a brick filled night storage radiator?
My Mum had these and when in auto position they only came on during the night when the electric was cheap. If she felt the room was cooling down too much by the evening she could click a radiator onto Manual and it would come on. HTH

It isn't brick filled but that might be it. I'll do some experimenting. Thanks.
