Water damaged - Nokia N95 !!!
8 Answers
Ok, I know I'm stupid but today my phone fell into bowl of water by accident now (obviously) it aint working at all. I retrieved it as quickly as possible once realised, but submerged for at least 10 secs. What are the chances it'll work once dried out or is it a gonna for good?! Will the memory card/sim be any good now it been wet or will that still be usable? I feel lost without it. Will the memory/sim card (used in N95) be usable in any other phone or only fit another N95? I'm sooo gutted, any suggestions?

Take it all apart, i.e. battery out, simout, memory card out, anything else that readily detaches and put them by the radiator. Don't put them directly on the heat source, but under it (obviously above it is preferable, but not always practical!), or on a tea towel on top or something. Will take a few hours..
Once dried out, it may be ok if nothing shorted. A hairdryer can be brought in for the mike/speakers if necessary.
Good luck!

So far still not working, though apparantly I've to keep trying. Someone told me their phone worked after 4 wks of a soaking, once it completely dried out. I've managed to locate an 'old' phone, my Sim card works in it, though the memory card not compatible. Still got some hope for my N95. thanks for all replies. ML
