Tuning in a 'spare channel'
2 Answers
I've purchased a micro freeview receiver which converts a small tv in the bedroom to digital using only the aerial input. I have wired it up correctly and the next instruction in the user guide is "Before switching on your Digital TV Receiver you will need to tune a spare channel on your TV."
My problem is that I don't have a remote for this TV - it came with the house; it's a Tatung Model No TN8904, it doesn't have a scart socket and has only the usual volume/brightness/contrast buttons on the front - no controls anywhere else.
So .... is there any way in which I can tune in the spare channel? - and thus bring up the 'start up screen' for the receiver . I've tried all sorts of combinations but nothing seems to work.
Thank you for your time to read this.
