whirlpool intergrated oven probs

hope someone can help me...my dad cant get his oven working the hob works but not oven.....he says the orange light is flashing.....i have not been able to look as i live away and will be travelling to c him next week.......but i am preety sure it must have something to do with the timer.....he did knock it off once before by mistake and i pressed 1 button and it came back on .....but not sure why the orange light is flashing....
