No, because there is no such thing as 'the common cold'. There are more than 200 different viruses any one of which can cause the cold symptoms.

If such a cure were available, the pharmaceutical companies would still profit from selling the cure, probably once a year, like the flu jab.

Back in the 60's young servicemen were encouraged to volunteer to undergo tests for "the common cold" at a special research institute. In recent years it has been revealed that they were actually exposed to experimental nerve gasses etc.
