bank loans

I have just started a new job- been there about a month now and was wondering if id be able to get a loan from my bank so i can pay off my credit card as all im doing at the moment is pay off the interest so it never goes down. I have only lived at my current adress for about a year and my previous adress I was not on the (electro roll) ? Does anybody know if ill be able to get one .?

Or you could go to cahoot.com and apply for a loan. IF they turn you down you will know that there is a credit/address problem somewhere down the line. If they don't, then jolly good, you have a loan! They are very cheap and very good.

Be careful when selecting a lender (if possible).  I had a bank credit card which was maxed out.  The bank  offered me a loan to pay it off, but quoted a big fee because it was to pay off their card.  Another lender kindly gave me a loan without a fee to go on holiday, but I changed my plans at the last minute and paid off the card instead
