What type of resin could I use to cast an electric guitar body from a homemade mould? It will need to be tough and not brittle.

I have found that an acrylic compond resin is best. It is sturdy, smooth, and can be shaped after drying as well as painted. the compounds can also be purchased in colors. Dry time is very fast so work fast, you may want to try small molds at first because the compound is not cheap in price. You also have to mix it your self, but if you are good with building your own moulds then you most certainly can do this! would love to see it when you are done. Idyllynn
