holiday insurance 4 day brittany ferries break
2 Answers
its to sandander for 4 nights - on the boat for two nights and the hotel within walking distance for the port for two nights. Just shopping.
I wanted to book online but it says at the end I have to either get insurance through them with their connected company or supply them the the policy number of an external policy bought else where.
We have bought a policy through them before and they didnt payout, we were supposed to get 60 for the boat being 9 hours late to pick us up at santander. But they claimed we had no policy even though it showed they had taken the payment on the bank statement.
So I want to shop else where. What policy do I need, what should it cover? I would like a well known and trusted company like the post office if poss.
Don't the post office also supply free med care cards? for traveling within europe, is this not sufficent, I suppose these dont have policy numbers on them and so dont count?
Thanks in advance

I have used these a few times with no problems but there are lots of others

Use the cruise travel insurance option as not all policies offer automatic cover for cruises.
Yes take the EHIC card with you but be aware that if you became ill or injured this card only entitles you to state-provided medical treatment only. Private treatment is not usually covered and you could end up with a huge bill. If you get cover online you will get a policy number which you can then use to book the holiday online.
