Internet Explorer 8/Hyperlinks

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to websites through hyperlinks using the upgraded Internet Explorer 8? My pc downloaded the upgrade today and I am not able to click through to any sites through hyperlinks. If anyone has any ideas how I can fix this, please help.

I found the same this morning when I did mine, but I just restarted pc a couple of times and then it worked.

I`ve hidden the update for now as there seem to be quite a few compaints about it.
