From bits that I remember about harmful substances of which there are quite a few - some are Flux, Asbestos, Solvent weld glue, cleaning solutions and solder. Cant remember many more at the moment but if I can I will contact you again. Cheers and good luck
hi
i'm a gas safe/corgi registered gas engineer
to legolassies answer i would also add the following
thread sealing compund (oil based) eg boss white, hawk white, boss blue etc
the imitation coals on gas fires which are some sort of ceramic fibres and can cause lung problems
propane gas as used in blow torches
heat sync compound which is often used when attaching thermostats to hot pipes.
spray adhesive
compressed air cans for cleaning dust off components.
i dont know what it is but the scale that we have to clean out of heat exchangers, very irritating to the throat.
oil/wd40 etc
thats all i can think of at the moment
