I bought GH: World Tour for the ps3 complete with drums. I plugged the dongle into the first usb socket and paired with the drum kit. I was able to use the controls on the drums to navigate the xmb, select the game and start up. However, once in game the drums didn't seem to be recognised at all. The only button that worked was the 'home' button that brought up the xmb and quit game option. I was so annoyed I packed it all up and returned it. In hindsight, maybe I should have tried a different usb socket. Would that have changed anything? Please help.

I've since found the answer to my own question. Since the 2.80 update instruments now default to a high number on the ports. IE: Instead of defaulting to port 1 like a controller would, it defaults to number 7. Easily remedied from - settings - accessary settings - re-assign controllers.
Pain in the neck doing it every time I switch on the ps3, but at least it works now. Hope this helps anybody else searching for similar.
