Applying to live in Australia

My Aunt and her fiance are both applying to move to Australia. He is a Joiner and he has just taken an assessment, showing how well he is at his job.

If he passes the assessment stage, the next stage would be a Medical Assessment. He is currently off work with stress, he has been off for a couple of months - will this affect their application to moving to the land of Oz?
