curious fact of the day
26 Answers
I would post this in Science, but then nobody would see it.
Here's a fact.
I read this, and tried it ... and it's true ...
Very hot water freezes into ice faster than cold water!
Try this.
Boil a kettle.
Fill an ice tray with hot, boiled water.
Fill another ice tray with cold water.
Put them in the freezer.
Although the cold water had a ''head start'', the hot water turns into ice FIRST !!
Why ???????
This is not a fluke. It works every time.

That was a good school.
You have people coming round ... you forgot to make ice.
You need ice, today.
Fast ice is a good life-skill.
All schools should teach that.
All I learned was how to "accidentally" catch someone with a lacrosse stick whilst making it look as if you were making a pass ... but then, that's also come in useful from time to time, LOL.
